Gdy Sebastian powiedział mi, że już wie, gdzie zabierzemy Justynę ( jego o kilka lat młodszą siostrę) w pewną słoneczną niedzielę byłam mocno zaciekawiona. Umówiliśmy się na fajne spędzenie wolnego czasu i odrzuciliśmy wszystkie standardowe pomysły, które zazwyczaj przychodzą nam w takich chwilach do głowy, uważając je ze zbyt oczywiste. No bo znowu Pola Mokotowskie albo Kampinos? Owszem miły piknik i długi spacer z psami, ale może warto wyjść poza schematy.
“Jedziemy do Arkadii” – oznajmił triumfalnie.
“Aha. To ja jednak wolę snucie się po lesie”- skwitowałam zniesmaczona. Jakoś ciężko mi było znaleźć pozytywy płynące z konieczności ocierania się o wystrojone tłumy w centrum handlowym.
” Nie na shopping, Matołku, tylko do wsi położonej niedaleko Łodzi” – odpowiedział z błyskiem w oku.
Ależ to zupełnie zmienia postać rzeczy! Pełni dobrych myśli wskoczyliśmy do samochodu i szybko na A2.
Pierwszy przystanek- Łowicz.
Byliśmy tak podekscytowani pomysłem, że żadne z nas nie przeczytało jak to jest z godzinami otwarcia lokalnych atrakcji w niedzielę. W rezultacie czego pocałowaliśmy klamki praktycznie wszystkich możliwych zabytków. Ba, nawet kościół był akurat remontowany. Obeszliśmy więc stary rynek i już mieliśmy “na tarczy” ruszyć dalej, gdy okazało się, że Muzeum Miasta organizuje coś na kształt festynu i otwiera swoje podwoje dla zwiedzających.
Wizualnie wyborne doświadczenie, wiadomo bowiem, że folklor łowicki rozsławiony jest na całym świecie, a rękodzieło w postaci wycinanek czy kolorowych ozdób, zachwyca zarówno rodaków, jak i gości z zagranicy. Wyedukowaliśmy się zatem historycznie, manualnie (można było skorzystać z różnych warsztatów prowadzonych przez babulinki odziane w kolorowe stroje) oraz kupiliśmy biżuterię hand-made. W pełni usatysfakcjonowani pojechaliśmy więc dalej.
Jak udało mi się na szybko przeczytać w samochodzie we wsi Arkadia mieści się ogród w stylu angielskim założony pod koniec XVIII wieku, który wraz z pobliskim zespołem parkowo-pałacowym w Nieborowie stanowi oddział warszawskiego Muzeum Narodowego.
Przekraczając bramę wejściową poczuliśmy się jak bohaterowie “Narnii”. Jakbyśmy przenieśli się za dotknięciem czarodziejskiej różdżki w czasie. W skrytości ducha liczyłam na to, że z głębi tajemniczej roślinności wychyli się elf, albo że o którąś z licznych ruiny oparta będzie stała dystyngowana dama i wachlarzem odganiała zalotników. Niestety nic takiego się nie stało. Za to było dużo gości z psami (w tym my rzecz jasna), co spodobało mi się jeszcze bardziej (psy chodziły grzecznie na smyczach, a właściciele byli zobligowani do sprzątania po nich, czego karnie przestrzegali. Pełna sielanka. Tzn Arkadia).
Co i raz natykaliśmy się na liczne zabytki lub ich pozostałości, jednakże największe wrażenie zdecydowanie zrobiła na nas położona nad urokliwym stawem Świątynia Diany, do której zapraszają przekonujące słowa Petrarki “Tutaj odnalazłam spokój po każdej mojej walce”. Oglądając wnętrza ozdobione dekoracyjnymi sztukateriami nie wiedzieliśmy czy znajdujemy się w Rzymie czy na podłowickiej wsi.
Było cudownie, bajecznie, sielsko i anielsko. Z błogimi uśmiechami na twarzy mogliśmy rozpocząć kolejny tydzień pracy.
Jeśli więc nie macie pomysłu na spędzenie niedzieli, a pogoda wręcz krzyczeć będzie by zrobić to aktywnie i na świeżym powietrzu…Nie ma za co 😉
