Znajdujący się na styku Wilanowa i Wawra rezerwat przyrody Wyspy Zawadowskie utworzony został stosunkowo niedawno, ponieważ w 1998r (celowo używam określenia wskazującego na relatywnie krótki okres, ponieważ cały czas wmawiam sobie, że jesteśmy młodzi, może nawet piękni i upływ lat nas nie dotyczy).
Oprócz zaopiekowania fauną (teren ten stanowi bowiem miejsce gniazdowania i żerowania rzadkich gatunków ptaków oraz zwierząt związanych ze środowiskiem wodnym) jest tam najzwyczajniej w świecie ładnie widokowo. Wysepki, przecinane różnej szerokości i długości “rzeczkami” oraz pokaźnych rozmiarów piaszczyste łachy powodują, że oprócz spaceru można sobie tam po prostu położyć koc i pójść spać. Albo w ten czy inny sposób się zrelaksować. Byle nie drzeć japy, kręcić wiksy, śmiecić, biwakować ani nie robić lokalnych dożynek przy ognisku z koncertem muzyki chodnikowej w tle (aaaaa, kto pamięta to określenie? no dobra, jesteśmy jednak starzy :().
Tak czy siak każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, ponieważ całość terenu zajmuje powierzchnię 530,28 ha, czyli mały on nie jest. Kluczowe, aby przebywać jedynie w miejscach do tego przeznaczonych. Co ciekawe można tam uprawiać żeglugę. Co prawda wyłącznie po ustalanym przez służby wodne szlaku, no ale nadal. Na stronie Fundacji Wisła wyczytaliśmy dodatkowo, że codziennie z Portu Czerniakowskiego można udać się tam na trzygodzinny rejs w ramach mazowieckiego safari. Nie wiemy jak w czasie pandemii z dostępnością tej atrakcji (w zasadzie to w czasie pandemii nie wiemy niczego poza tym np. ile dokładnie centymetrów fugi znajduje się w naszej łazience), aczkolwiek z opisu całkiem fajnie to wygląda. Dodatkowo na terenie rezerwatu organizowane są spacery z przewodnikiem, przy czym trzeba się na bieżąco dowiadywać co nasz wspaniały rząd odnośnie tego typu aktywności kwestii akurat postanowi. Jak powszechnie bowiem wiadomo w kościele covidem zarazić się nie można, ale w lasach czy parkach ryzyko wzrasta o 100 procent.
Bez względu jednak na to czy w pojedynkę, czy też z profesjonalnym ornitologiem, nogami, na rowerze czy łódką, rezerwat ten naprawdę warto odwiedzić. W zasadzie o każdej porze dnia. My jeszcze nie byliśmy tam o zachodzie słońca, ale nic nie stoi na przeszkodzie, żeby ten błąd naprawić.
