Mam nadzieję, że w poprzednim poście wystarczająco obrazowo wyjaśniłam dlaczego „małpi gaj” nie powinien być Waszym głównym źródłem rozrywki w Krabi. Proszę się jednak nie martwić – atrakcji, i to wcale nie tak bardzo brzemiennych w skutkach, jest tam mnóstwo. Można w nich wybierać jak w ulęgałkach.
Naszym absolutnym faworytem była kajakowa wycieczka po lasach mangrowych, znanych też jako namorzyny. Aktywnie, inaczej, ciekawie, wciągająco. Ja byłam tak podekscytowana, że zupełnie zapomniałam o totalnym braku mięśni w rękach, dlatego mocno odchorowałam zakwasami swój stan euforii w czasie wiosłowania (już wieczorem tego samego dnia rozważałam amputację kończyn górnych). Ale było warto.
Zakładam, że każdy punkt noclegowy prowincji posiada ulotki minimum jednego miejscowego biura podróży, które dowozi szukających wrażeń turystów do Ao Thalane- punktu początkowego przygody.
Wypływamy z prądem, więc zadowolenie osiąga level ekspert. Każdy myśli, że jest Pawłem Baumannem, do tego cudowne widoki na oblegane przez małpy (sic!) skały, tafla do pokonania nawet dla totalnych niemot takich jak ja, po prostu miodzio.
Pierwszy przystanek to maleńka, piaszczysta wysepka, po której biega bilion małych krabów. Totalny zawrót głowy. Są niej również przedstawiciele innych, ciekawych gatunków. Mega.
Następnie oglądanie jaskiń…no i clue programu – wąska, wodna trasa wśród mangrowców, czyli tropikalnych drzew dumnie prezentujących plątaninie swych potężnych korzenii. Cała rozrywka zajmuje jakieś pół dnia, ale emocji dostarcza więcej niż tygodniowy pobyt w Tunezji.
Jeśli chodzi o inne aktywności okolic Krabi związane z morzem – polecamy nurkowanie. Może podwodne pejzaże nie są tak zachwycające jak w Egipcie, ale naprawdę dają radę. Świetnie się sprawdzają także w deszczowy dzień, ciekawe doświadczenie oglądać spadające krople z rybiej perspektywy.
Jest też mnóstwo wycieczek na plaże znane z hollywódzkich produkcji. Nie przeczę, bardzo piękne miejsca.
Niemniej jednak nie wiem, czy jest chociażby jeden dzień w roku, w czasie którego nie są tak potwornie zatłoczone. W zdecydowanej większości przypadków Niebiańska Plaża staje się piekielną ze względu na chmary rozemocjonowanych turystów.
Z tego względu ostrożna byłabym w specjalnym rekomendowaniu tego typu wycieczki – wystarczą mi na co dzień korki z Marszałkowskiej.
Najlepiej więc dogadać się z lokalsem, który zabierze nas w mniej popularne, ale równie piękne miejsce. Nawet jeśli w ostatecznym rozrachunku byłoby to średnio opłacalne finansowo rozwiązanie. Bo czy mniej bezpieczne – wątpię. Naszym środkiem transportu po rajskich plażach była bowiem przeciętnej wielkości motorówka, nieposiadająca zadaszenia, okryta jedynie skrawkiem ceraty. Brakowało jej również nawigacji i radia, dlatego gdy w czasie swego rodzaju sztormu kapitan przeżegnał się z trwogą wymalowaną na twarzy, wiedzieliśmy, że to nie heheszki.
Jeśli natomiast ktoś wolałby atrakcje na lądzie, może wybrać się na galę tajskiego boksu. Zresztą, aby obejrzeć zawodników muay thai na żywo wystarczy dłuższy spacer w głąb miasta – bez większego problemu można natrafić na szkołę sztuk walki, w której młodzi adepci doskonalą swoje umiejętności.
Niechętne przemocy jednostki mogą natomiast skorzystać z bogatej oferty masaży wszelakich lub rybkowego pedicure.
O reszcie rozrywek takich jak ping-pong show czy wieczór z ladyboyem się nie wypowiadam, ponieważ jestem ogromnym przeciwnikiem tego typu szaleństw.
Tymczasem kończę tajską opowieść i sięgam po następny przewodnik, który pomoże mi przy kolejnym wpisie.
